I love your blog! My name is James Lai and I started a new hair fashion website called http://www.thecuttingchair.com a few months ago because after spending about 8 months developing it. I felt like the hair industry was lacking in high quality content online, especially hairstyle photos and I set out to fix that problem.

I created a new hairstyle gallery that can be seen here http://www.thecuttingchair.com/hairstyles with an interesting approach. My staff and I regularly search the streets of Los Angeles and Orange County for interesting haircuts and we photograph multiple angles of each. We take it a step further and provide visitors with the information that matters to them, specifically: styling products, styling tools, and how to achieve the look for each hairstyle.

You can search for hairstyles based on your face shape, hair texture, color, even by keyword (e.g. products, location, techniques).

We also post celebrity hairstyles and submissions from hairstylists. We recently received photos from several North American Hairstylists Awards (NAHA) winners from this year.

Our article content currently consists of interviews with hairstylists who are doing great things for the industry, how to’s, hair talk, men’s hair, and celebrity hair reviews. We also have a blog and a forum for users to participate in.

I am reaching out to you because we have been having a hard time getting some publicity and wanted to ask if you would consider blogging about The Cutting Chair, specifically our about our hairstyle gallery. It would really mean a lot to us. We are extremely passionate about providing high quality hair-related content to the public and are very excited that we created a new platform to do so, but we just need that extra help getting started.
