Now we all prize the huge arsenal of hair care products we have at our disposal, ready to rid us of that unwieldy hair as we go through day by day. Styling, combing and brushing, all of them tends to have a damaging effect yet we all do them and love them at that. Now we mostly choose products based on experience, advertising and other personal preferences such as the new drive to use the best green products that have been derived from all natural products the world over. There is however a very real problem that is costing manufacturers millions of dollars in losses and you, well your nice top of hair that you risk losing from all the fake and imitation products that are available almost everywhere.
One of the growing problems is the online trade of goods where the supply chain is more or less obscure for the end user, you. Several investigative tv shows have tried to bring the problem to light yet people just can’t stay away from the few dollars of savings they tend to get from dubious bargain shops and other stores on the sidewalks that sells seemingly the real-thing yet they are far from the real thing and can even be loaded with poison and other health endangering ingredients.
They have the same packaging, color and even smell, heck, they may even have the same look, feel and effect but they can cause a lot of health problems due to sub-standard ingredients that fraudsters put into them to mimic the real stuff. How do you avoid such fakes, if they are priced too low for the quality you’ve been used to paying for these many products, they are most likely fakes. The profits these criminals make is real which fuels their drive to continue with their trade. Manufacturers sometimes employ private investigators to do their security work, yet they are a mere pin-prick in the scrupulous world of fakes. It may be too late to say that fakes are there but it may be enough to get you asking why your hair is falling out, even if you’ve been using the same store bought product? Maybe you got a bargain with some dealer who sold you a box of the stuff for a fraction of the cost, just maybe.
