Hair care myths II
Posted by Kip V under Keeping it healthy, hair care
- Hair loss may be due to stress. They say that too much stress would result into thinning of your hair. This is not true. It may be due to poor diet or hormonal imbalance.
- Hair loss might be caused by too much reliance on hair products. So far there is no evidence to this claim.
- Too much exposure to UV light causes hair loss. Hair loss involves the follicles; sunlight must reach that far to cause hair loss. Besides, the hair is one of your protections against the sun.
- Too much use of your blow dryer causes hair loss. The hair can get damaged from the use of blow dryer resulting in hair fall, but definitely not hair loss.
- Too much washing causes hair loss. Actually, washing you hair is a good thing. Just know the right shampoo for your hair and you can wash them as you please.
