Swimming and your hair

During spring and summer, going swimming is in. May it be in the pool or at the beach, going swimming during these seasons is hard to resist. But do you know that this can cause damage to your hair? It’s not just too much exposure to the sun which can damage your hair. The contents of the water such as salt or chlorine can also damage your hair. You could either wear swimming caps or pull your hair up in order to protect your hair because salt water and chlorine can cause your hair to mat up. Gelatin can also be used to protect your hair when swimming. This is what some swimmers do.
