shapoos2Research is a commitment and having the ability to play with some of the most expensive equipment more akin to advanced cancer research facilities that entails billions of dollars of equipment. Asides from the huge investment in people and equipment, these companies also spend millions of dollars in advertising, packaging and endorsement costs just to sell a few dollar’s worth bottle of shampoo. The Emo Look

Posted by Sherill under hair trends, Style

null

A lot of girls and boys right now sport a new look, the emo.
The term emo can either refer to the music or fashion it represents. Some even call it is a cultural movement.

Achieving an emo hairstyle can be easy. The color black is a standard in emo fashion. While others try different colors on their hair, typical fashion for an emo is a tight shirt and jeans, black straight hair with long bangs swiped to one side, neckties, glasses, studded belts and buckles, black socks and sneakers, body piercings, and black nail polish, eyeliner and lipstick (for both girls and boys). Teasing the hair and adding hairspray will add volume and make the look fuller. Hair straighteners like flat irons are also used in straightening the hair.

But remember, in any type of fashion, comfort is paramount – good fashion is always both stylish and comfortable.

The 3-P’s of Frizzy Hair

frizzyhairSummer’s here and so is the nightmare of frizzy hair care that is enough to send most who have them to the salon for a very untimely cut. But stylists say there’s no worry as long as you follow the 3-P’s, Prevention, Production and a Product that works for you. Having frizzy hair means you have to wash less or you’ll be spending a ton on re-doing your hair, curling and damaging it more. On windy days, best use those bandannas or scarves over your hair to prevent tangle and drying it out too much. No scarf, a piece of fabric that matches your clothes and style can serve the same purpose. Covering it also prevents it from getting to look like a bird’s nest, long abandoned and shredded by time. Gaunitz Hair RegenerationTherapy – Warning

Posted by Sherill under hair trends, Information

gaunitzPeople are willing to try just about anything to get back their previous hairlines but as time catches up with you, hair loss is programmed into our genes. These websites are as varied as the types of treatments they propose; from drugs taken internally, applied to the scalp and more recently hair growth stimulating lasers that claim to stimulate the regrowth of hair by energizing the dormant hair follicles enough to get them back to making healthy hair. The claims may be the solution to the hair loss problem being faced by millions worldwide, one problem though, it hasn’t been approved by the US FDA. The system might work but having a laser that has the ability to modify or induce cell growth is a dangerous prospect for without long term testing another fad may send millions into hospitals with side-effects other than having that perfect crown of hair.

CURLS

It is holiday season and we need a holiday look. And the perfect on the go hairstyle is the curls. Curls have always been associated with the adjective luscious. It does not only give you look hotter but elegant yet simple.
There are different kinds of curls which vary in sizes and the way it is curled. Big spiral curls are the best for me. It makes huge faces become smaller. I also like the curl of Dalja, the main character of a Korean tv series. Her black medium curled hair emphasizes her rounded face.
Although fabulous, curls are really hard to maintain. It is really temperamental. Once a month you must go to the salon and have a hot oil treatment especially during cold season. Moisturize your hair with essential oils like avocado and jojoba. Medium or coarse hair uses more oil than fine hair. You can use any oil of your choice as long as you moisturize your hair and scalp. It is a must for curly hair.
