Making the cut

hair1.jpgAs with most things, great hair need to start somewhere and most of the time, it’s the hair cut that helps you make the cut. Keep in mind that there’s more to a haircut than just getting a few inches chopped off. With your hair framing your face and being a prominent fixture on your head, it pays to give haircuts ample thought before doing anything drastic.

Some people make the mistake of choosing a haircut that’s not suitable for their specific face type. And it is mistakes like this that result to constantly bad hair days. So the next time you go for a trim, do a little research first – don’t just go with whatever is hot on the menu. Consider your hair type and the shape of your face. Then be realistic and think about how feasible it is to maintain the hairstyle given your schedule. For instance, if the style involves long minutes of hair blowing which you cannot afford, forget about it. Go for something less fussy but equally flashy. And last but not the least; make sure you go for something you think you’ll be comfortable with lest you’re willing to live under a hat or a scarf until you grow out your salon disaster.
